I would like to be able to add details to toggl entries. A seperate field to the description field, to add detail to the time spent. Currently I have to use another (much less preferred) application to do this. ---

Would also love this - billing is much harder to calculate when I have to group it by project, but I need to account for where time went within that project that does not align to tasks. Would love a description field on time entries, or project specific tags even. Some finer grain marking. ---

+1 for time entry notes. I’m really missing this from the tracker I used previously. For me the task description is the headline. In the notes I add information I find along the way and a final summary of what was accomplished. Also if I had any significant interruptions I add it to my notes. ---

Adding simple notes to tracked sessions I believe is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to upgrade Toggle Track’s functionality, releasing a bottleneck. Notes will make it an involved tool used _during_ work and at the conclusion of work, not just as a hindsight tool (besides the timer that runs during work time). ---

I would also like to be able to tab through to update other fields (in the mini timer, a setting to pop up the field when I tab onto an icon and hit space - the current keyboard shortcuts kinda get in the way of each other). I agree @Tamas_Perlaky , I think the task should be the primary field, with the project an automatic rollup from the task. The existing data field could be a summary field, with an additional detailed notes field for when we need it (suggested workflow - tab to icon ✏, hit space, pop up a box to type in). @LinneaCD project-specific tags - absolutely! People on different projects don’t want to wade through tags that are completely irrelevant to them; it actually downgrades that functionality as people just stop using tags, or apply whatever comes closest, or make new ones (and then there are a 102 tags and 37 are essentially the same thing….) ---

Ditto. I’ve been using the app for a while and would use this every day. I don’t typically track tasks in Toggl, just clients and projects; what I’d like to have is a note for each timer (better yet, a group of timers each day). ---

_Bump_ Do we have this feature yet, or an update on it please? Be really useful - for example if I need to invoice a client part way through the month I need to record where I was up to.
