# Can't use toggl track desktop app (free)

Hi, I’m trying to use the free plan and just track my time with the desktop app, but it keeps saying

“Your account doesn’t have access to any toggl track workspaces, but it does have Toggl 2.0, open toggl 2.0 to keep going.”

When I click it, it just takes me to the website.

Why is this so difficult, I should just be able to download and go like years ago.
