When exporting data (settings - data export - export time entries), the double quotation mark is used to delimit individual values in the CSV file. However, double quotation mark are also used in our description. These are not masked and then cause problems when importing into external systems.

Is there a way to choose other field delimeter? Or can I use unicode for coding?

@dira Thanks for posting this! Can you please tell me if the regular CSV (comma delimited) export works for you? You can get that from the Detailed Report page.

I think you mean the Export from the page “Reports”. There I can only use “Download PDF”. CSV and Excel is disabled.

Yes, I was referring to the Reports page, specifically the Detailed Report for individual time entry export. But it does require a paid plan to be able to export in CSV or Excel, I’m afraid. With that in mind, I’ll share your feedback with the team about the regular data export you tried using, and I hope we meet your needs better in the future.
