# New Feature: Save and Share Views in Toggl 2.0

We’ve launched the ability to save and share your custom views (timelines, task lists, and boards) via link, along with updates to the sidebar layout and calendar views.

## What’s New

**Save and Share Views** You can now save your preferred view configurations and share them with workspace members. This eliminates the need to recreate your preferred layout, filters, and grouping every time.

**Updated Calendar Views** We’ve streamlined the calendar experience. The two previous calendar views have been consolidated into a single “My time” view, where you can toggle between:

- Time blocks only
- Time entries only
- Both time blocks and entries

**New Sidebar Layout** The sidebar has been reorganized for improved navigation.

## How to Save Views

Saved views work in:

- Task lists
- Boards
- Timelines
- Project views

Saved views preserve:

- Grouping settings
- Applied filters
- Sorting preferences
- Availability period (when grouped by “people”)

**To save a view:**

1. Configure your view with your preferred grouping, filters, and sorting
2. Click **“Save”** in the upper right corner
3. Name your saved view

**To pin a saved view:** Pinned views appear at the top of your saved views list for quick access.

## How to Share Saved Views

1. After saving a view, copy the shareable link
2. Share the link with workspace members
3. **Important:** Recipients must save the shared view to their own account to use it
4. **Limitation:** Links only work for users within the same workspace (external sharing is not supported)

**To access shared or saved views:** Use the dropdown menu in the upper left of the view to navigate between your saved views.

If you could add a way to make any view (saved or default) the preffered view, so that when you enter that area, that’s always the default view, that would be awsome.
