Reporting in Focus

What are the plans for reporting in Toggle Focus? Today, reporting appears quite limited compared to Toggle Track.

Weak reporting is one of the things keeping me from switching to Focus from Track.

I understand that reporting capabilities are important to you, especially when considering a switch from Track to Focus.

Currently, Toggl Focus does have a Summary report available to admins that shows time logged and task progress for all team members. You can filter this data by time period, member, client, project, task, status, and priority, and combine multiple filters to get the information you need.

That said, I recognize this may feel limited compared to what’s available in Toggl Track. This is valuable feedback, and I’ll share your thoughts about wanting more robust reporting features in Focus with the product team so they can consider it for future development.

In the meantime, if you’re looking to compare reporting capabilities between the two products in more detail, the Focus Summary report with its filtering options may help address some of your immediate needs.

Yes, the data can be exported and reported via Excel or some other tool, but that’s not quite as convenient as the reporting tools built into Track. Once that type of reporting is available in Focus, I can migrate to it.

Thank you for sharing this feedback with us, Kevin! We will be working on improving reporting in Focus. I hope you’ll keep an eye on Focus as we keep improving it
