Before I’ll be interested in moving or being forced to Toggl 2.0, the desktop application needs an option to switch to a “lighter” view. Currently I can use the old track app to work in a tall and slender format that just shows a list of my latest time entries under Today and Yesterday headings. I can easily resume one of those or start a new one. Additionally, we need the functions that give us the option to keep time when we went inactive or “discard and continue”. Additionally the option to stop time entries when the computer is shutdown. These are some of the main uses of the desktop application. Without them, it’s not really a viable application.
