Toggl Track - Activity Data disappears after ~1 week

Struggling with an issue, whereby if I review my Toggl Track entries from over a week ago, the Activity Bar that appears beside each entries turns red, and when I click on it, the little window reports “No Activity Recorded” along with “Active Time: 0%”

This is a big problem if I simply record start recording without entering a project/description and want to go back and determine what that alotment of time was spent on.

Hey Lewis,

The timeline bar is red if no computer activity was seen during that period.

Yes - that’s exactly the problem. Entries which previously had activity data associated with them, lose their activity data after ~7 days and suddenly start displaying ‘No Activity Recorded’.

E.g. if, on the 2nd of February, I review my activity from the 1st of February, then all the activity is listed there. However if on the 8th of February I want to review my activity from the 1st of February, the activity data is no longer there.

I am using 10.17.2 (64 bit) on Windows 11

Hi Lewis,

If your Timeline data is syncing with the cloud, we will show you the last 10 days of synced data in the desktop app. Synced timeline activities that are older than 10 days are deleted when you login into, or restart the app, or if you change Activity Recording setting.

so is there no possible way to see your activity for more than 10 days into the past?

We show 8-weeks in the app if sync is disabled, but it is not synced to the cloud and will also be deleted after 90 days (or by logging out). The Timeline feature | Toggl Knowledge Base
