Toggl Track

### Topic content

Hello,

I have 2 Toggles accounts using the free version; however, each account has a different limit on the number of users I can invite.

One account has a maximum of 3 users and the other has 5 users.

Please can you explain why this is? I can upload supporting information if necessary.

Kind regards,
Mia

That’s an interesting situation, Mia! Unfortunately, the specifics of why two Free plan accounts would show different user limits isn’t something I’m able to explain from what’s available here.

What I can say is that this is not currently possible for me to account for from the information available on Free plan user limits varying between accounts. This sounds like it may be something specific to your account configuration, and would be worth investigating directly through your account settings to see if there are any differences between the two workspaces (such as one being on a trial of a paid plan).

Is one of your accounts much older than the other?

I’ve seen other discrepancies between my free plan and ones my colleagues signed up for much later. I think it’s because Toggl have a policy of leaving old plans on the old limits when they change (e.g. [Could you please consider making the report view unlimited again for Free plan users? - #5 by Support](https://community.toggl.com/t/could-you-please-consider-making-the-report-view-unlimited-again-for-free-plan-users/4479/5)).

Yep, Isikyus is correct. Older plans get grandfathered into the limits/features, and new accounts might have different limits.
