Thanks Rumi! We have switched over to Focus now things have considerably improved.
Is quick duplication supposed to work as per Plan now? It’s not working for me if I hold Ctrl and drag a current task, but of course right clicking and “Duplicate” does.
Hey Chris, so great to hear! And sorry for not clarifying: the shortcut is Hold OPT/ALT and drag a task on timeline to duplicate. You can find all shortcuts in this button at the left bottom of the sidebar:

The ease and clarity of Toggl Plan were features I’d been looking for in a planning app for a long time, and I was thrilled to find you a few years ago.
Focus essentially takes away all of these advantages without offering me anything in return. If you finally close Plan (and I keep seeing threatening pop-ups), I’ll permanently cancel my subscription (I’ve been actively searching for alternatives for several days now, and I’m truly sorry).
Your persistent attempts to steer me toward Focus have seriously damaged the trust I had in you. You were a simple, reliable app that helped me reduce the chaos of my day, now it’s only adding to the confusion.
AND AGAIN the pop up shows every time the page reloads AND after 2 seconds it automatically opens Focus as it still does not work for us. My co-workers cannot see the planning now! Help us out pls we need Plan to operate until we have found a working alternative which is not the case now.
Can you please help us get rid of the pop up en let us stay in Plan until we work things out pls
Hi Rumi. I’m having the same issue as Marelle (where it is forcing my team to redirect even though we’ve not migrated), can you help please as they can’t see their tasks?
I just got a notification from the team that this should now be fixed. When you open Plan, you will no longer be redirected. Apologies for the trouble.
I’ve just had a go at switching from free toggl track (it’s just me) to toggl focus and here’s what I found so far and why I’ll be sticking to toggl track. for perspective I work with multiple clients some of whom I do the same task for and I’ve always thought it would be far more intuitive to create one client and be given the option to assign tasks from a list of options that I’ve created rather than have twenty project entries that say payroll but each one with a different client.
On comparison of the new interface i cannot see the option to view clients in the left hand menu and no way to filter projects by client inside projects either.
When I’ve gone into reports and filtered by client it showed zero hours tracked when i can clearly see it in toggl track.
there is a discrepancy in total time logged for the week between Track and Focus with Focus adding on over 4 hours of time.
The tie inside Focus is now shown as “without client”
The deal breaker for me is the reports. I send my clients an invoice and include a perfectly formatted PDF summary but you can only download a CSV in Focus so that’s it for me, I’ll be sticking with Track which has served me well for the last five years so please don’t retire it
If you advise how I delete my data from the Focus version without affecting the Track version I’d be grateful.
Please add parallel independent timers! I often find myself needing an extra timer to run alongside another. I’d happily migrate everything over to Toggl 2.0 if it provided parallel timers.
