Bug in Browser Extension: Future time entries contribute to daily / weekly totals

Using the browser extension, adding future time events (eg, for tracking upcoming vacation time) will incorrectly contribute to the Today and Week Total figures:
Before:

After:

This is handled correctly in the desktop app:

Please review and resolve. Thanks

Hi Adrian! Which version of the extension do you have installed?

(Version 4.5.1 - Updated 7 November 2024) - this is the latest in the Microsoft Store (I’m using Edge).

Out of interest, I tried Chrome with v4.6.0 of the extension - this has replaced the ‘Today’ and ‘Week Total’ with the ‘Heatmap’ button:

The heatmap is a neat and interesting feature - I like it! And the good news is that the weekly calculations when clicking the heatmap button are correct, even with future entries. However, the monthly calculation looks wrong - is it missing yesterday, or not calculating the future bookings correctly??

Also, please restore the ‘Today’ and ‘Weekly Totals’ on the main pop-up, so that data is always visible without having to drill down to the heatmap.
And could the ‘HeatMap’ support ‘Dark Mode’ as well, please ?

Many thanks for your support!

Gotcha, Adrian! Lemme check on this with our team.

Thanks Jake - I look forward to it

Thank you for pointing this out! It’s definitely an issue that could lead to inaccurate tracking for users. The fact that the desktop app handles future entries correctly highlights the need for consistency across platforms.

This feedback is valuable, and I hope the team can prioritize a fix soon. In the meantime, relying on the desktop app for accurate totals might be the best workaround.
