My primary use for Toggl is to report time per client + project per day. While the details of that work are useful to me, I do not report them. If there is a way to group reports by client then duration or client + project, then duration, that would be greatly appreciated. Also, the option to delete tiles on the report screen that are not of help to you, as, for efficiency’s sake, I would like my most pertinent data at the top of the page.
Love the idea of seeing daily time per client or project. That’d make billing or tracking so much easier. Right now, on the Free plan, the Detailed Report in Toggl Track is your best bet. It shows all your time entries with dates, clients, projects, and hours. You can filter by client or project and download it as a CSV or PDF. Check out the guide here: https://support.toggl.com/en/articles/2206985-reports.
To get daily totals, you could pop the CSV into Excel or Google Sheets and sort by date and client or project. It’s a bit manual, but it works.
If you are on a paid plan, you can use the new Custom Reports (this is still being rolled out, in case you don’t have the update yet, it will reach out soon) where you can create a custom report showing daily totals grouped by projects for example.
