Is the pomo feature abandoned?

Enterprise client here…was super excited to start trying out Toggl!

I wanted to see what community sentiment is on overall strategy. I’ll take an example: the Pomo timer seems half-baked unless I’m missing something. No dedicated keyboard shortcuts, can’t launch natively from the tasks, api triggers etc. Is this their normal approach to new features? Raises a lot of flags from an external assessment perspective.

I appreciate your interest in Toggl’s features. Based on what’s available in our documentation, I don’t have specific details about the current state of the Pomodoro timer feature or its roadmap.

That said, your observations about potential improvements to the Pomodoro timer functionality sound like valuable feedback. Features like dedicated keyboard shortcuts, native launching from tasks, and API triggers could definitely enhance the user experience. This is a good idea, and I’ll share your feedback with the product team so they can consider these suggestions for future development.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for ways to streamline your time tracking workflow, you might explore other features in Toggl Track like creating time entries, using keyboard shortcuts for general time tracking operations, and checking out available integrations that might complement your workflow.

Is there anything else about Toggl’s current features I can help clarify?

I’m also not sure what’s happening with Pomo. I’m using win app, had initially set up pomo work as 50 minutes and after a while changed it to 60 minutes. Now it goes for 60 minutes but time entries are still all logged as 50 minutes, and I even hear notification at 50 minutes even though timer goes on for another 10.

Hello! Just to check: do you also happen to have the browser extension installed (and pomodoro enabled there) on the same computer?

Yes I do. Is that a problem?

Can you check the settings match on the desktop pomodoro and the browser extension pomodoro?
The two platforms don’t share pomodoro settings, they are set independently.

Thanks!
