Hi @katcelt, indeed the import does not currently include checklists. This is something we will be working on, and when done, you will be able to re-run the import to get all your information across.
Toggl Plan will remain fully available to you until we are confident that Toggl Focus can support your workflow without interruption.
Based on user feedback, we are prioritizing the features teams need most (alongside improving the import to include all data elements from Plan). We are currently working on:

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, it is really valuable to us and I understand how important it is for you to not lose any data in the process.
PLEASE keep access to Toggl Plan! It’s simple, streamlined, and I’ve been using it for years to track my own personal tasks and timelines. My organization already uses Asana in addition to Toggl Plan, so we have no need for Focus. I tried switching over — I was overwhelmed and annoyed. Focus is NOT a tool that I need. Please, I beg you, keep Plan available to your users! I would hate to have to find another tool if Plan goes away, but Focus does not meet my needs so I may be forced to move away from Toggl entirely if you eliminate Plan completely.
This reflects exactly how I feel, and I know many other users feel the same.
Focus is not an upgrade to Plan, it’s a completely different kind of tool. I’ve tried it, and it simply doesn’t fit the way I work. If Plan is removed, this will likely force us to look for an alternative outside of Toggl, as Focus does not meet the same needs.
Plan is fairly unique in its simplicity, power, and ease of use. I truly hope Toggl recognizes this and doesn’t throw the baby out with the bathwater by removing a tool that works so well for so many users.
There is so much in Focus that doesn’t make sense, especially given the name. For example, how am I supposed to focus on a task when, instead of having it grouped nicely within the rest of the project, it’s just in a giant list with all of the other tasks and subtasks from all of the other projects? Sure, I can filter, as long as I set up the filters and don’t mind having to turn them back on every constantly. I would much rather “All” be an option than the default.
And I actually like having the nesting of subtasks within tasks. But, it should would be nice to be able to reorder them. And, what is the point of being able to duplicate a task if all that does is duplicate the task title? It probably takes less time to type that than it does to duplicate; if I’m duplicating a task it’s because I don’t want to have to retype all the subtasks and other entries. At least let us create templates or something.
And, I feel like there has always been a slight issue with recurring projects….which is understandable, it can be a bit complex to track. But, at least the options in Plan made it possible. But Focus makes it basically not worth it; if I have to set it up individually every single time then I might as well just use a different program.
This last one is probably a personal problem, but I have a project that WILL NOT delete no matter how many times I try to get rid of it.
I love Track and Plan and have used them both together and individually over the years. But if I have to switch from Plan to Focus in it’s current iteration I will absolutely be looking for a different product.
