Can Toggl be reliably used to track time spent editing videos?

I do most of my video editing work in video editor, and I’m trying to set up a simple but reliable way to track how much time I actually spend on editing tasks for different clients.

My question is: what’s the best way to use Toggl in this kind of workflow?

Since editing in capcut includes multiple stages (cutting, effects, captions, exporting), I’m not sure if I should track everything under one timer per project, or split it into separate tasks for editing vs revisions vs export time.

Has anyone here used Toggl for tracking time specifically for video editing workflows, and if so, how do you structure your timers or projects to keep it accurate without making it too complicated?
