Dates in PDF filenames are poorly formatted

When I export PDFs of my reports, the filename is in the format TogglTrack_Report_Summary_report_(from_08_06_2026_to_14_06_2026).pdf

This is poor formatting of the dates, since it means the files cannot be sorted by filename into date order. Previously, a yyyy-mm-dd format was used, which is much more useful and standard in reporting to ensure sorting works as expected.

Could this either be an option, or simply revert the filename to what previously worked well? As it stands, I have to rename every file after I download it, which is tedious.

Thanks.

That’s a great point, and the yyyy-mm-dd format does make a lot of sense for keeping exported files sortable without any extra work. Unfortunately, there is no current option to customize the filename format for exported PDFs, and it is not currently possible to revert this through any setting in Toggl Track. I will make sure to pass this feedback along to the product team.

In the meantime, the only workaround available is manually renaming the files after downloading, as you mentioned, which is of course not ideal.
