On the dashboard, there’s a blinking pink-purple filled-in circle over a folder icon. When I hover my mouse cursor over it, the context windows tells me I can create a new project to better organize my time tracking.
Except, I do not need to create a new project as I am only time tracking for one project for one organization. How do I get this icon to stop blinking at me?
The blinking notification you’re seeing is an alert suggesting you create a new project to organize your time tracking better. Since you only need to track time for one project, you can simply dismiss this alert by clicking on it or closing it. Once dismissed, it should stop appearing on your dashboard.
If the alert continues to reappear, you can ignore it and continue using Toggl with your single project setup - there’s no requirement to create additional projects if your workflow doesn’t need them.
