Ever since I use the toggl mac app, I never have to log in. I just logged in when I installed it and it just continues to work.
But since a couple weeks ago, every morning the app says that it got logged out and that I need to log in again. I log in and I can use it for the day, but the next morning the same thing happens where I need to log in again.
That sounds frustrating! Let’s try to figure out what’s causing this.
First, could you let us know what type of login method you’re using? (Google, Apple, email & password, SSO, etc.) That might help us pinpoint the issue.
If you’re having issues logging in with Google or Apple, the first thing we can try is to disable and re-enable Google/Apple login. Here’s how:
1 Reset your password
Go to the password reset page and submit the email associated with your account.
You’ll receive an email with a link to create a password for manual login.
2 Log in manually
Use the email linked to your Toggl Track account and the new password you just created.
Disable and re-enable Google/Apple login
Navigate to your Profile page > Account Settings.
Scroll down and click the three-dot menu to disable Google/Apple login.
Then, re-enable it.
