Make default filter for Project Tasks "Show Active"

I think it would be more convenient for the default filter for Project Tasks to be “Show Active” instead of “Show All”.

Some of my projects have many tasks, and the current default setting of “Show All” fills my screen with completed tasks that I don’t care about.

I would think that most users are interested in their currently Active tasks.

That’s a good observation about workflow efficiency. Currently, Toggl doesn’t have the ability to set a persistent default filter preference for Project Tasks - the default remains “Show All” each time you view your tasks.

However, you can manually filter to show only active tasks whenever you’re viewing your project. While this isn’t a permanent default setting, filtering to “Show Active” will display only the tasks you’re currently working on and hide completed ones, which should help reduce the clutter on your screen.

I really do appreciate that you took the time to respond to my comments, but it seems that you’ve just restated what I said.

I’m aware of the non-permanent nature of the Task filter settings (Active, Done, All). The issue for me is that the default is “All”, which I don’t think is useful to most users, especially as one’s list of complete tasks grows.
