One user, multiple teams

Trying out Toggl Plan for a bit- I’m a single user, but I have two different work schedules. I have the work I do for one group of clients that I do during certain times of the week and the work I do for another group of clients. I thought I could make two ‘teams’ and make myself a member of both, but I can’t figure out if there’s a way to say “Monday, Team A gets 8 hours and Team B gets 2 hours. Tuesday, Team A gets 7.5 hours, Team B gets 1 hour. Friday, Team A gets 45 minutes, Team B gets 7 hours” or something similar so that I can make sure I’m accurately planning for what my expected hours should be, but I can’t figure out how to separate the hours like that or how to assign a client or project to a Team.
What is the point of Teams if not to be able to assign a project to them?

It sounds like you’re looking to plan different time allocations for different clients across your week in Toggl Plan. While Teams in Toggl Plan are primarily designed for collaborative team management rather than separating individual workloads by client, there are a couple of ways you could approach your scheduling needs:

You can create separate projects for each client group and then assign yourself to those projects with your desired time allocations. This way you can plan your hours by project rather than by team. You’d set up your weekly schedule showing how many hours you want to dedicate to each project on specific days.

Alternatively, if you want to keep your workstreams completely separate, you could look into using multiple workspaces within an organization, which would give you distinct spaces to manage your different client work and schedules independently.

For your specific use case of managing distinct work schedules across different client groups as a solo user, organizing by projects would likely be the most straightforward approach rather than using teams.
