I am first time user of any toggl product. Actually evaluating at the moment the focus product for the small company I am part of. We need a simple way to create tasks, and log times by task, projects, clients. This seems it could fit our needs. The task part is missing the possibility to add attachments and pictures but we can live with it by using links to our cloud drive. What I do not see is how to export time spent filtered by person, task, project, client, date period. How to get some excel and/or pdf file?
Also it would be probably important to my boss to have the feature to have the possibility to add a small note associated with some logged time. Something like “3h spent for on site training”. I do not see this.

I will share the feedback about adding attachments to tasks with our team, great idea to use links to files for the time being.

You can export your data in a csv format, here is how.

In Toggl Focus, all logged time is associated with tasks - so if you name a task “Site training” and log 3 hours for it, maybe that could work? Alternatively, you could run a timer for as long as the training would take, or have a longer task and add a note that the site training took 3h out of it.
