Togg Focus Recurring Tasks

Recurring tasks are currently created without a recurring time block. In case we get feedback on it, we can add that functionality; this time we opted for a slightly smaller scope. How this works:

  • Add a date (or dates) to your task

  • Pick a recurrence (daily, weekly, monthly)

  • Task is shown on top of the calendar

  • Drag and drop the tasks to your calendar for time blocking (or don’t)

    • When you delete the time block
  • When you mark the tasks as done they’re removed from their designated spots

I’m not seeing the REPEAT field on my tasks - how else can I create recurring tasks?

Same here, were you able to find a solution?

Hello! When you enter a start date for the task, ensure you’re NOT adding an end date for the task. Then let me know if the Repeat option appears!

Thanks! I see it now. Appreciate the help.

Can we remove the original date from the main recurring task? Right now it shows as if it was past due on my Tasks and Board views because the original date is a couple weeks back. It would be helpful if this either updated to the latest occurrence or if it said something like Recurring instead of showing the From - To dates.

a recurring time block

I will have this use case, now im still tracking it else where.

Btw, Is there a way to see the repeated tasks with different dates on board view? I’m coming to toggl focus as toggl track user, and used to track the tasks else where. So seeing the repeated tasks just on the “My Time“ view is still not very intuitive for me.
