Task dates are a standard functionality in all calendar applications. They allow a user to mark a task for a certain date without time blocking. How this works:

Add a date (or dates) to your task

Task is shown on top of the calendar

Drag and drop the tasks to your calendar for time blocking (or don’t)
- When you delete the time block

When you mark the tasks as “done” they’re removed from their designated spots
