Hi there,

we already have Toggl Track implemented and broadly established in the company. We currently wanted to roll out Toggl Plan as we need a more standardized way of tracking our times and also the ability of resource planning.
Toggl Plan was supposed to be the perfect fit for us, as it would have been an extension to our existing Toggl Track ecospace.
Now we are facing some issues, as Toggl Plan & Toggl Track would be replaced by Toggl Focus, but Toggl Focus is lacking some functionality compared to Toggl Plan & Toggl Track.

Toggl Track import

As all of our tracked times are logged in Toggl Track, we would need a solution to migrate all time entries of our ongoing projects into Toggl Focus. An import of the last 90 days would not be sufficient for us, as some of our projects have a history of several years.

Project blueprints

Most of our development projects follow a defined scheme. Therefore, it would be utterly helpful for us if we could define our standard project blueprints that can be used when a new project is created in Toggl Focus.

Are project blueprints planned for Toggl Focus and if so, when is it to be expected?

Task dependencies

The tasks within our projects are sometimes related to each other (predecessors and successors). If one task must be shifted, this also affects other related successing tasks.

Is such a feature planned? If so, when?

Ghost users

While we not only track the times of our employees, we also wanted to use the Ghost user feature for example for capacity planning of our machining equipment.

Are Ghost users planned for Toggl Focus? If so, when?

Billing information

When can the billable rates feature be expected?
Are billable rates planned to be customizable per project and per user respectively user role?

Detailed reports

We use the detailed reports of Toggl Track at the end of the month for invoicing, however invoicing itself is performed in our ERP system. The reporting feature of Toggl Focus is limited.

Are detailed reports as they exist in Toggl Track planned for Toggl Focus?

Mobile app

Some of our employees use the mobile app of Toggl Track, such that they can track their times indepently from having a notebook available.

When is the mobile app to be expected?

100% agree to all of this. for our small design firm, this focus combo of task planning and time mangagement is only worthwhile if I can set up typical project files as templates or blueprints that my team can then replicate as new clients come in. And those need to have the very basic ability to assign different amounts of time to sub tasks and show task dependencies. Otherwise, I’m just manually managing all the most difficult parts anyway.
