For like a few months now I’m unable to reach track.toggl.com from my default browser to view reports, etc. It just show the logo with purple background and the throbber spinning. I can use the Toggl extension though to track time, and also if I open same browser in incognito mode, everything is fine after logging in.
I’ve tried clearing cache, all browser data, etc. (I cannot even log out, as the site won’t load)
Do you have any ideas / workaround how to fix it?
Thanks!
Hi there! Normally, extensions are disabled by default in incognito tabs. It is possible that an extension is causing the issue with the Track wev app in a regular browser tab. Do you remember adding an extension about the same time when the issue started happening?
Hi! I was referring to any other extension, not the Toggl Track one. I apologize if that wasn’t clear. For example, an ad-blocker extension, one that can read/write data on any page, or a VPN extension, etc.
This is the only reason that comes to mind why the web application would work in incognito but not in a regular tab even after you cleared the cache.
You can try disabling extensions one by one in your default browser to see when the app starts working in a regular tab.
