Auto-Scroll when assigning projects

In a recent change the web timer interface has started scrolling the page when you click to add a project onto an existing time entry. It scrolls the page until the project selection box is at the very top. I find it super jarring but I haven’t found a setting to disable.
I can see why it was done, but I wish I could turn it off.

Agreed, I find the auto-scroll distracting rather than helpful. After clicking out of the project entry the view then rapidly returns to the most recent project entry. Would like to see this behavior removed or at least an option to disable if desired.

  • I find it utterly disorienting. I do not expect any UI to scroll my views.
  • I would be very happy if this is made optional, so I could turn it off.
  • The scrolling is smooth one way, but is abrupt in the oposite direction (as @hayesj10 put it: “rapidly returns to the most recent project entry”), which contributes to this disorientation.

The good news is that it was fixed this past Friday, so everything should be back to normal now! :tada:

Still experiencing this issue. Do I need to clear my browser cache or adjust some other setting on my end?

@Marie any insights as to why the auto-scroll is still happening in Web? Would it be beneficial to take this into DM chat to troubleshoot further or can you already see all my account details such as browser, version, etc.?
