Logged on to Focus this morning and data is not loading into several views.
- Tasks are ‘missing’ from the ‘Tasks’ view under ‘Plan’. But visible on the ‘Board’ view. They are on ‘Timeline’ too. If I scroll quickly there is a flicker of entries. It’s as if they are invisible rather than missing.
- Projects don’t appear on the projects page, but are visible under ‘Favorites’.
- New project does not appear after creation. Doesn’t appear in search.
- New task don’t appear once created unless I press ctrl+return. After saving they don’t appear on the ‘Tasks’ view.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Steve
Hi Steve,
It sounds like you’re experiencing a display issue where data isn’t rendering properly in certain views, even though it exists in the system. Here are some things you can try:
First, try refreshing your browser or restarting the app. This often resolves temporary rendering glitches like the ones you’re describing where content flickers or appears invisible.
If refreshing doesn’t help, clear your browser cache and cookies, then log back in. Display issues can sometimes be caused by cached data conflicting with current information.
If you’re using the desktop app, try closing and reopening it completely.
Since you’re noticing the data does appear in some views (like Board and Timeline for tasks, or Favorites for projects), it confirms the data itself is there - it’s just a display problem in specific views.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, the problem may be specific to your account or browser configuration, and it would be worth investigating further with more detailed troubleshooting.
Let me know if any of these steps help!
