Deleting one record in task deletes entire task

I frequently record new time entries to the same task, but sometimes I make a mistake and need to delete just one of the time records. It used to be that was possible, but now the entire task gets deleted when any part of it is deleted. The only workaround I can see is to just modify the part of the task I want to delete, separating it from the task (where I can overwrite something new or then delete it).

It would be nice to be able to once again delete parts of the task without deleting the entire task.

Looks like: (Deleting only one of two bottom records, not all of them)

I understand how frustrating that would be. It sounds like you’re working with time entries that are grouped under a task, and you want to delete individual time entries without affecting the others.

The workaround you’ve identified is the current approach: you can modify the time entry you want to remove by editing it separately from the task, and then delete just that individual entry. This way, your other time entries under the same task remain intact.

This is a great suggestion for improving how Toggl handles individual time entry deletion within grouped tasks. I’ll share this feedback with the product team so they can consider making this functionality available in the future.
