I use toggle track with repeating and new clients over time but the project names always remain the same since I’ve set them up based on fixed services that I offer (sidenote: unfortunately this has meant a great deal of duplication in setting up the same suite of services for every client I onboard ps: It would be great if there were a way to avoid this like being able to the same project selectively to clients).
I recently started using toggle focus and imported my projects however what would be fantastic for me and perhaps others that have a similar relatively static setup of projects and tags would be to allow deeper integration with toggl track where it’s possible for users to have the option to choose from 3 types of import/integration:
(1) a persistently linked connection to toggl track with immediate bi-directional updating for changes to projects, clients and tags so that the common attributes carry over between platforms.
(2) Importing of any of the toggl track projects, clients and tags using “select all” or by allowing the user to select just what is needed
(3) a clean setup with no import.
A great bonus would be if there is a separate setting that allows users to have the focus platform push the running time entry to toggl track immediately, acting in a similar way to how the track-app works to update track-desktop running times or vice versa when one is changed.
