Setting up the integration

For the best experience, set up your calendar integration with Google Calendar of Outlook

  • Navigate to Settings on the bottom left
  • Find calendar settings
  • Follow the cues to set up your Google or Outlook Calendar

If you already have it set up in Track, you will not have to do it again.

My google calendar integration doens’t work. Turned it on-and-off and logged back out and in and it keep saying “syncing”

Haven’t seen any google calendar events on my focus calendar (it works in track and plan though)

@Felix_Tikkanen

Could you try removing the calendar integration from Track and then adding it back again? After that, go back to Focus and refresh. Does that work for you?

Fully disconnected the calendar from track and reconnected it. Hard refreshed toggl focus, still just saying “events syncing” and not showing anything. Then tried disconnecting and reconnecting it from focus. Also no luck.

PS: any progress update on the sync between track and focus (similar to the sync between plan and track?)

Looking into this for you.

For now, these are separate products that you can use as standalone tools. While I can’t give you any details about future plans, I’m excited to share that reporting is coming to Focus soon! It won’t be as fancy as Track reporting right away, but we’re working hard on Focus and should be able to meet your needs even better in the near future.

Track offers webhooks. So integrating clients & projects shouldn’t be that complex, no?

Thanks!

Focus is built in a much more advanced way, with an advanced data structure. I can’t share all the details right now, but we do have this on our radar

@Felix_Tikkanen, can you please refresh Focus and check again if your events started syncing?

It works! Thank you so much!

Started using focus now without any projects, love it.

Quick question, should I just start manually copying over my projects from plan and track to focus and start using it that way? Or should I wait a for sync option?

My current workflow is copying over my daily todo’s (using text copy paste) from plan to focus as an unmarked project.

@Felix_Tikkanen That’s the best way to go for now. Oh, and here’s a pro tip: if you haven’t tried it yet, you can create tasks easily by taking screenshots and then navigating to Tasks > Import tasks. Just drop the screenshots there, and they’ll be created for you! :magic_wand:
