Are we missing something, is the option still in there somewhere? Because this is virtually unusable without it, for anyone who wants to track time continuously.

Completely agree, this was one of my main uses

I’m curious if this is an Android only thing too I haven’t seen anyone with an iPhone complain about this feature being gone.

I agree this really makes the app unusable! Please bring back that feature in Android!

I much prefer the simple button that existed before, but I did find something similarish.

On the edit screen of the currently running timer, if you drag the start marker (the play button) backwards around the dial, as you get near whenever the last stop time was, an indicator appears showing you exactly where the stop time is, and lights up if you land on that spot.

I would post an image of it, but as a ā€œnew userā€ on this community, I’m apparently not allowed.

Although this proximity-triggered-indicator is better than nothing:

  1. My preference is still the simple button that existed in the Android app v8.3.0
  2. Why shouldn’t the indicator of ā€œlast stop timeā€ be visible (even if subtle) as soon as I open the editor?
  3. If I must drag an element, can it ā€˜snap’ to the spot indicated?

I would also greatly appreciate this button being added back. I create entries when I am done the session, so I relied on this button virtually every session. I find the pointer to the last time not always showing up, but the old button was consistent and easy to use. I would like to know what the reasoning for making this change is

This is one of my top main functions. I may stop this app altogether now. I’ve loved this app for years but now with this gone & I can’t even sign in to the app anymore because it redirects to using the browser every time, & you can’t push start on old entries anymore. All main functionality is gone suddenly.

Edit: I was able to get it to log in finally, hours later but I will leave the original statements here as it was an issue. After logging in, the ability to push start on old entries is also readily available again, as well. But I’m still very unhappy with the lack of the aforementioned button.

Hi everyone,

If you start scrolling the wheel on the running timer you’ll see the ā€œLast stopped timeā€ appear.

You can then tap on that and the timer will have the start time set to the last stop time.

Hope this helps!

Hi Support,

What you’ve suggested is significantly more clunky, a multi step process to badly replace what was a single click.

In short, this doesn’t help.

Please bring back the old ā€œSet to last stop time todayā€ button, or better yet, improve it to a ā€œSet to last stop timeā€ button, that can also jump past the impenetrable barrier of midnight.

Also messaging to restate what everyone else here is saying. The recent update has greatly increased friction and made the app very frustrating to use. The previous state of the app was very intuitive and made it easy to log multiple entries throughout the day. This seems like an unnecessary update to something that was very well designed already. I love this app, but please find some way to revert the UI.

This doesn’t work when you have been tracking a task for more than an hour, the ā€œlast stopped timeā€ icon only shows up on the first time around the wheel.

Also with the old simple click to get last stopped time, you were able to quickly edit any prior entries for consecutive time tracking for any entries made same day. Now the wheel icon only shows the last stopped time icon when you are editing the entry currently being tracked. Without sitting down and looking at it on a desktop, I’m unable to see a list of start and end times without clicking individual entries, so the old ā€œlast stopped timeā€ button was a lifesaver that I used constantly.

Please bring back the old ā€œlast stopped timeā€ button!!!

Thanks for making this request, I just signed up just to like your comment and add my voice to the choir.

Instead of one press before you now have to first check the time the last entry ended (in case you don’t remember), press the start time, select the start hour, press the minutes box, select the minutes and press OK. So minimum of five presses and that is if you remember the correct start time already.

Sorry to say this is horrible design compared to the elegance before. Please fix / revert this in a future update.

I literally only registered on this forum to complain about this feature being removed.

Please bring it back. Even better: please add it to all other UIs.

Hi @Support team,

Could you let us know if the product team is aware of feedback regarding the ā€œLast stopped timeā€ change?

Do you know if there are any plans to improve or revert the feature?

Have a great day!

@Support Like most people in this thread, I also signed up to this forum just to ask for reverting this unusuable update. (Which by the way, shouldn’t be this way. What happened to the customer support email for free users?)

It has been two weeks since this post, as you can tell by the overwhelming negative feedback. When can we expect a solution to this? Please don’t mention the wheel scrolling to last stop time, this is extremely clunky and full of friction.

@Support signed up for this forum to echo complaints above. Please bring back this feature! The app is actively less usable since this last update!
