Hi, I use the Android mobile app to track my time. It looks like the UI was just overhauled. Did the Start at Last Stopped Time feature stop working for anyone else, or am I just doing it wrong?

They removed it in the last update. This really increases friction…
In the previous version, I was able to simply tap “Set to last stop time today” and it would automatically adjust the start time.
Now, I have to spend an extra 10 seconds per entry in order to write the last stop time, either manually, or by clicking “edit duration” then trying to slide the “start” marker as accurately as possible to the last stop time.
This makes toggl really hard to use now, since I log sometimes more than 30 entries a day, on different accounts.
Is there any way to bring back this previous feature, in the settings?
If not, could you send the apk file of the previous android version? I want to keep using your amazing app, but just not without this feature.

Hi everyone,
If you start scrolling the wheel on the running timer you’ll see the “Last stopped time” appear.
You can then tap on that and the timer will have the start time set to the last stop time.

My Android app just updated today as well and I find myself desperately missing this feature… I’m sorry, but scrolling on the wheel to see the last stopped time is very user unfriendly. I’m not sure what caused this update, but I would very much appreciate it being reverted to the previous state… There is a lot of friction now for creating entries throughout the day - I’m not sure I’ll be able to continue using the app in the current state.

Hey everyone, I feel the same.
Changing the button to “Last stopped time” after scrolling the wheel now adds extra seconds, which adds up to minutes every day and hours over a month. For me, the value of this feature was how quick and effortless it used to be.
Does anyone have an APK of the older version?

As you can see by the comments in this thread, it really doesn’t help. It feels like a downgrade, adding much more friction and causing us to look for alternatives as Toggl becomes unusable. Please don’t take these words lightly.
Is there any previous APK you can provide us to revert to the previous version which worked perfectly?

I also log 20 or 30+ tasks daily and found the one-click “start at last stop time” an intuitive and useful way to update and start entries. This made toggl a good tool for tracking work and life tasks, which was helpful as part of ADHD management. It feels a bit silly to say this is an important thing, but I would love it if toggl restored this option.
