I was surprised to see there’s no option to track client work across all projects using the new goals feature. Naturally I could select all projects, but I’m assuming that if I add a project, then it won’t count towards the goal nor will I be able to edit the goal to include it.
Thank you for your feedback! I have shared it with the Product Team. This makes complete sense, and I hope we can meet your client-specific goals in the future. Feel free to share any other suggestions you may have, we truly appreciate it. ![]()
I just want to give this suggestion a +1. It would make a huge difference to me!
+100. I work primarily on a retainer or hourly basis with clients, so I need to be able to set a goal of a minimum number of hours per month or week, per client. I use projects to help distinguish where time was spent on my invoices, but that is too granular for my goal setting.
Thanks so much for the suggestion! I shared it with our product team. Please keep your suggestion coming! We always want to hear what you need. ![]()
Big +1 to this. Goals has the potential to be a great addition. BUT - with 100s of projects, and new ones being added often, we need to be able to set Goals by Client. Ideally, I would then share these goals with specific team members.
Another +1. I have multiple projects per client and a weekly hourly goal per client. Being able to set a goal per client would be great!
Yes PLEASE!
Goals per client is the only that way that makes sense for our business.
YES!!! I love the goals feature, but it only makes sense to do it by client.
I use a work around by adding all projects for a certain client to the goal but then you have to start over from scratch when you add a project for that client, because goals can’t be edited.
I’m surprised this has not been added yet.
+1 here!
Btw, my workaround is to use tags (but I need to add a tag on each time entry).
