Goals for whole month and client

Hi, I discovered new Goals feature, but it is not suitable for me. I typically agree with the client on how many hours per month I will work for them.
So I would like to have possibility:

  • set “for” every month
  • set “Track” to client, because I have more projects for one client

This is my exact use case as well, it would be great to be able to log at client-month level

This! I had no other use case for goals. My work cycle is basically in a monthly cadence. The first two weeks vary dramatically from the last two weeks. So, it only makes sense for me to set monthly goals.

I won’t get into why setting goals for clients is important. Just know that tracking by project isn’t very useful for me.

YES!!! I love the goals feature, but it only makes sense for me to do it by client, and my clients have multiple projects.

I use a work around by adding all projects for a certain client to the goal but then you have to start over from scratch when you add a project for that client, because goals can’t be edited.
