Google Calendar events invisibly deducted 24 hours from the timeline capacity when the calendar event is set to ‘busy’. This event does not show in focus, leaving the user unable to determine why an extra 24 hours as been deducted from their capacity
Hi @togglbob
Can you please share more information on the event itself that was created in an external calendar. Was the event a full day event or no? Usually, by default, creating an event in Google Calendar it is marked as busy I was not able to reproduce it not showing up in the timeline even if I set it to “private”.
@togglbob just saw your second topic about this with more details. Our team will look into this. We will reach out as soon as we have an update.
Hi, sorry I didn’t specify this, it happens when there is an all day event in google calendar that is set to ‘busy’. It doesn’t show in focus, but the time is deducted from my timeline capacity. I just set the event to ‘free’ in google calendar to fix.
It would be nice to be able to see the all day event in focus, or how focus calculates the capacity figure, as I took a long time to figure out what was happening.
But this is a separate issue from the other post, even once I figured this out my capacity figures still didn’t add up until I changed my work schedule times back to default.
