Keeping all Toggl entries in Google Calendar (not just the last 2 weeks)

I use Toggl to track my work as a self-employed freelancer and I want to be able to see my work sessions in my Google Calendar. I was excited to use this feature, so I upgraded my plan and added the iCal link to my Google Calendar and my Toggl sessions showed up, but I was pretty bummed to learn that it will only ever show the the Toggl sessions from the past 2 weeks. This is a pretty frustrating limitation because I want to use this feature to record my work into my primary calendar, but as it is, I’m losing that record in a way. I know I can see those sessions in the Toggl calendar, but I want them in my primary calendar rather than a separate place. Is there a way to see all Toggl entries for all time in my Google Calendar, beyond just the past 2 weeks? And if not, can this feature be added? It’s pretty important to me

@Morgan_Ridley-Smith thank you for this feedback!

While, at the time of enabling the iCal feed to an external calendar, only two weeks of past time entries get imported, moving forward you will not be loosing any data, but, you can’t retroactively import all time entires from the past beyond two weeks ago at the time of enabling the iCal feature.

With that said, we hope to find a way to meet your needs better in the future allowing an all-time export of data to an external calendar at the time of enabling the iCal feed.

Feel free to reach out if there’s anything else we can assist you with!

I added the iCal link about a year ago and I still only ever see 2 weeks of history… Maybe I need to resubscribe to the link? Is this a problem on my end? Did it change at some point so I need to update it?

Bumping this thread @Support . I am also using Google Calendar with the iCal integration with Toggl (on the paid plan). I have used it for a few months but the events I see on my gcal is always those in the recent 2 weeks. Somehow, the events disappear after a few weeks.

Hi Jay! The two-week limit is expected: iCalendar integration

Thanks for the reply @Support . Is there a way to make gcal keep those events in the calendar even after 2 weeks? I saw that Apple Calender seems to support this.

We don’t offer an option to manually adjust that timeframe, but we can share this with our team as a suggestion!

That would be great! In the meantime, is there a guide on how we can manually do this until the feature is shipped? (Eg exporting all past Toggl entries for the past month to gcal, and that this won’t duplicate the events on the gcal too many times if we do this every month)

Agreed. I would like to see this as well. I want all my time tracking slots to be able to be pushed to Google Calendar. Not just 2 weeks but all of them. This seems like something that should already exist, especially in a paid plan..
