I use toggl for some years now, and mostly on linux and windows.
Now on the new company I’m using Mac, and could not find how to do two things I got used to:
when setting up lables and projects, diferentiate them by colors
how to toggle collapse and expando daily tracking, as now I’m tracking form some weeks the scrolling is quite big and as I do not have the right click to expand or collapse, I would like to know how to do it on the mac version
When creating a new project in the app, type in the new project’s name, then click “Create Project”. A popup will appear with a color icon to the right of the project name; you can select your project color there.
Are you looking to collapse entire days of entries?
So at this time we don’t formally have the same “collapse” option that the Windows app does, but I have shared this with our Product and Mac team to take into consideration!
not sure what you mean with this grouping, but yes I have similar entries grouped on the page, but I don`t see how the page configurations should relate to the appliation itself
I use the time tracking daily, but I usually collapse the previews entries so its easier for me to check if I need to stay a little longer to compensate days I did not clocked the whole 8 hours.
Also as a suggestion, on the app itself could be an option to highlight (even a short line would help) to see whole weeks, or when one ends and the next one starts.
I can see more detail on the site yes, but the timer is always there in hand and its easier then opening another browser just for this.
For now I`m no longer using the mac native app and running toggle on windows via RDP
Let me know if there is a proper page for suggestions, as my plans to subscribe went down as it became no longer ‘portable’ for me now that I`m on mac
