I use iPhone app, browser app, and Mac app. Sometimes my task descriptions get long and I would like to be able to see the full paragraph while I edit it. Currently I can only find one-line input spaces on browser/Mac app. Is there another way to edit longer text for the currently active task?
Agreed. I would like some place to be able to see an entire description. Would be great if I could leverage the same UI as this widget Im using to enter this information but maybe limit to textual based items, or include everything and omit any pictures for reports, or provide links to maybe a Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, or Sharepoint site to reference the pictures if not stored within toggl.
My use case is I provide a service for customers and I use the reports to bill my customers. I like to give a very detailed description vs a simple description (3 or 4 words) to my customers about a service I provided.
Aside from using a 3rd party app to write the description and then add it without any formatting, the one small liner description area in toggl is not cutting the mustard. Also, if I want to edit the detailed description I have to copy it and paste it into my 3rd party app (example notepad) edit it and copy and paste it back.

Right? It would be such a great improvement to be able to do real text editing of task descriptions instead of just a few words. My clients demand longer task descriptions. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Toggl will address this soon!
