Invoices with Project and Tasks listed

How do I create an invoice that shows the project and tasks with hours spent per task?

The invoice template does not show the project name or the tasks that I created. this should be standard protocol for an invoice. Some clients event want the description of work completed under each task.

Have you tried the new reports (beta)? If not, I would suggest you enable beta features from the Profile page (at the bottom of the page) and then try different ways of grouping your data in the Summary report and generating an invoice. There are more grouping options in the beta, and this might meet your needs better. You can also use the Detailed (beta) report to create an invoice.
