The time entries in the timesheet view don’t seem to be sorted in any obvious way. It’s not alphabetically by project, it’s not the project order in the projects, it’s not the order of time intries, it’s not the total time tracked. Appears to be completely random for me:
It would be nice to have it sorted in some way (by project name is what I would need) and even better if it was sortable by different criteria since different people have different needs.
Thanks for bringing this up! The ability to sort time entries in the timesheet view by different criteria like project name would definitely be useful. Unfortunately, this sortable feature is not currently available in Toggl Track’s timesheet view.
Currently, the timesheet displays your entries in a fixed order that isn’t customizable. This is good feedback though, and I’ll make sure the product team knows that users would benefit from being able to sort by project name and other criteria to better organize their timesheet views.
In the meantime, if you need to organize or analyze your time data in different ways, you might explore Toggl’s reporting features, which allow you to group and filter your time entries by various criteria including projects.
