I have created an n8n toggl node to pull the data to Google Sheets, It sho happens if I set the time say 5 mins, and if the tas task been started and not closed within the poll time, only the start time is populated in the google sheet without the end time. and even if it later ends, the time is not being updated against the ID.
Hi! In the next request that happens in the following 5-minute interval, does the time entry show up again, this time with both start/stop times, or is it just not updated?
Would it work for you to make that poll time interval longer?
No, end time entry does not appear in the next poll, even though the task has been marked as closed. Increasing the poll interval still leaves the possibility of the task being updated during the polling period. A potential solution could be to schedule the polling after office hours.Still in the case of WFH, it would fail. However, it would be ideal if there were an alternative approach to handle this scenario more effectively. However if the task starts and end withing the poll period everything works,
It should ideally update and not append if the end time is present in the next poll. as n8n allows append and update. we can use id as the key column and update the entry with end time.
