Proposal

Having a setting which shows a notification when a certain threshold is reached would be a nice addition to the desktop app.

Use case

I work flexible hours. I usually have a 2 hour window in which I enter work. I log every single minute in Toggl and therefore use it to track my total work time.

A simple reminder when I finished tracking my 8 hour workday would be nice. Since this is dynamic in my case I always end up losing myself in my tasks and therefore lose track of time.

Toggl could help me get home in time! :slight_smile:

Possible workarounds

If Toggl Goals had an options for when a goal is reach this would suffice for my use case.

Hi @Emil_Linden, welcome! :waving_hand: You do get a celebratory banner on the desktop app when you reach your daily tracking goals with Toggl Goals like this:

… but it is (1) quite silent, and (2) I believe you would need to stop the timer for the celebratory banner to occur. Would this suffice or are you looking for a more prominent/intrusive notification?

Yup, I would probably want to have it more intrusive, i.e. be displayed when Toggl is in the background, and without having to stop a timer.
