My Toggl trial ended last week, and as administrator, I moved my team of 4 onto the free plan.
I tried to pull a usage report for the team last week and noticed that I could no longer filter via team member. I was only able to see my hours.
During the process of trying to work out what was going on, which involved several screen refreshes, I noticed that there’s now a limitation on report views and when I noticed this, I only had 2 views left.
I’ve now completely run out of report views and still wasn’t able to find the team member or project filter before this happened.
Are reports now only available in 30 views per month (including refreshes) and only for your own time?
As an administrator, can I no longer review team and project hours on the free plan?
To answer both of your questions: yes, team reporting is a paid feature. On the Free plan, each user can only view their own time entries in reports. Admin access doesn’t extend to viewing the full team’s hours in reporting on the Free plan.
The 30 report views per month limit also applies to new organisations on the Free plan, and yes, page refreshes do count towards that limit, so it’s worth being mindful of that.
If team and project reporting is important for managing your team, upgrading to a paid plan would be the way to go. You can see more on how to about that here.
I am having an issue with the report feature as well. Is there a way to find out when my 30 report views refresh? Is it supposed to be at the first of the month? I have not seen it refresh my 30 views and I’m almost out of views. I have only explored the reports once before back in early to mid April. But it’s still showing those same views from last month. I am only trying to see views for myself as I am the only user on my account.
Trying to create a report for a meeting tomorrow and the hours don’t look like they are adding up correctly based on my calculations in the report view. But each time I go back and forth it uses one of my views.
