Suggestion: Forward time entries to @people

I use toggl for my own timekeeping, but often am making entries like “Client.Matter L120/A106 - Conference call with Client, @Joe, @Sally re Really Important Issue.” At the end of the week, I cross-load my time into my firm’s timekeeping tool, Aderant.

Often, others at the meeting will ask me about the description I used so they can mirror it in their timesheet. It would be neat (and build virality) if I could selectively keep a list of people and then, if I @ them in the entry, have a copy of it sent to them after some reasonable delay from when I create it.

They’d get an email from toggl:

“User shared a time entry with you:
Client.Matter L120/A106 - Conference call with Client, @Joe, @Sally re Really Important Issue. (2025-02-18 13:26-13:52) (.4)

Hi Mark,

Thanks for sharing this idea – it’s a great one! :toggl-heart: We love hearing how you use Toggl, and this sounds like a really useful way to streamline timekeeping across teams. :toggl-cheers:

I’ve passed your suggestion along to our product team for review. While I can’t promise an immediate implementation, we’ll definitely take a closer look at how something like this could fit into Toggl. In the meantime, if you have any other thoughts or details on how this would work best for you, feel free to share—we always appreciate the insights! :toggl-rocket: :toggl-muscle:

Thanks again for taking the time to reach out, and happy tracking!
