My Outlook appointments are displayed in the Toggl workspace, but I want the reverse: I want my projects to be entered into the Outlook calendar as appointments.
Can this be configured?
Without this feature, Toggl is useless to me.
Hiya Michael!
You can export time entries to another calendar by using our iCal feed feature: iCalendar integration | Toggl Track Knowledge Base
Thank you for the information, but I need the Outlook (Exchange) calendar as another software works with these entries.
This means I will need to look for an alternative tool for now.
You should be able to do the same in Outlook web application calendar, just choose to add a new calendar and then choose to “subscribe from web”, then use the iCal feed URL there and your time entries will show up as events in your Outlook calendar
Hi Veljiko,
With this, I can subscribe to the Toggl calendar in the Outlook web client, it would also work in the desktop client, but that’s not what I need.
What I need is for Toggl to write the events into my main Exchange calendar.
Same here but in google calendar.
Have you tried the iCal feature? It is called iCal but it actually is not an Apple-only feature. iCalendar is the international standard for exchanging calendar data. The standard and the Apple application share the same name, leading to the common use of “iCal” to refer to calendar feeds, even though iCalendar is the broader, more technical term.
With the iCal feed enabled, you can add a feed from your time entries in Track to any external calendar by going into your external calendar and adding another “calendar” to the view by subscribing to it via a URL (the iCal URL), and this will enable a feed from your time entries in Track, and they will start populating your external calendar as events.
You can find the feature here: Toggl Track
