Post Title: Toggle is not recognizing my workspace billable rate in invoices, reports, anywhere
Your Question/Topic: I’ve set up my workspace billable rate. I’ve applied the workspace billable rate to projects and noted the projects’ time as billable. When I create an invoice, create a report, drilldown into a single project, etc it shows 0 billable hours and $0 billable amount.
I’ve done a hard refresh. I’ve logged in and out of Toggl. No dice.
**EDIT: I upgraded to Premium subscription to retroactively change billable rate for previous time entries. But when I actually try to do that, the button to do so just doesn’t do anything. I click the pink “Change rate starting from …” button and NOTHING HAPPENS. It just sits there.
When you run into this issue, can you confirm if you are bulk editing projects on the Projects page and changing the historical rate for multiple projects at once? Or are you editing rates by editing details for individual projects?
Does logging out and logging back into the app help? Do you have any more granular rates set up for project members or tasks within projects?
Hi, thanks for the reply! I have tried bulk editing and individual and neither works. Logging out and back in didn’t work either, and I don’t have more granular rates set up for members or projects. It seems like it’s just not accepting the retroactive date.
I’m having the same issue. Did you find a solution for this? I made some projects, set a workspace-wide billable rate, and then started logging hours. All of the projects are showing at $0 despite being set up as billable.
Thanks for replying. It’s strange, and maybe my problem is slightly different. My logs are already displayed as saying “Billable flag is always on for this project” and the $ is purple, but it doesn’t record the amount in the project page. It says, for instance, I have 18 billable hours for a project, but the Billable Amount is 0 USD. I don’t know how to get it to notice my rates and calculate the amount at all. I thought it’d be automatic, but maybe I’m missing something?
