Windows app encourages users to inadvertently close other applications

On Windows 10, when reopening the desktop app from the system tray, the app appears to come up maximized but actually is floating and seemingly at the maximum screen size. In this state, some cursor positions across the topmost row and rightmost column of pixels actually do not target the application window, but rather the desktop space behind it. As I move the cursor across the top edge of the screen, the Close button flashes between red and white as its hover style is activated/deactivated.

As a result, when the user slams the mouse to the top-right and clicks the button, sometimes the user does not close Toggl as intended, but rather the window behind it. This has caused me data loss nearly a dozen times since January, and it’s taken this long to diagnose why my windows were disappearing (I actually thought my app was crashing Firefox).

I’ve taken a screen capture of this behavior. Do you have an FTP server or somewhere I can upload it?
