A feature to pin the Mini Timer to the taskbar

Hello. I am wondering if the following feature exists.

A feature to pin the Mini Timer to the taskbar

Reasons for needing it

  1. I keep multiple windows and programs open. Since the default toggle track is too large, I find the Mini Timer very useful.

  2. The Mini Timer is exactly the same height as the taskbar. It is convenient to place it in an empty space on the taskbar and use it.

  3. However, when I click on other windows, the Mini Timer hides behind the taskbar, making it unusable. Since there is no way to bring it back out once it is hidden, I have to turn the Mini Timer off completely and then turn it back on.

  4. Currently, I use the Mini Timer with only half of it overlapping the taskbar. With this setup, even if it is hidden behind the taskbar, clicking the exposed part reveals the entire thing again.

  5. However, having only half of it appear is still a bit inconvenient because it covers part of the document anyway.

  6. I would like to keep it permanently placed inside the taskbar. It would be great if the Mini Timer remained pinned to the taskbar at all times, regardless of whether I click on other windows.

That’s a clever workaround you’ve found with the half-overlap trick! The ability to pin the Mini Timer directly to the taskbar is not currently available in Toggl Track, so what you’re doing is about as close as it gets right now.

This sounds like a great idea and I’ll make sure to pass this feedback along to the product team.
