I am running MacOS Tahoe, and Version 10.15.0 (2986) of the toggl app. The app icon in the dock used to change from gray (no timer running) to pink (timer running). It is no longer doing that, and I can’t seem to find a setting for this. Is it possible to somehow activate this feature again? Or am I missing a setting somewhere? Thanks!

Heya Zach! Because of changes in macOS the app icon in the dock doesn’t change color when a timer is running. I can mark this down as feedback for the team, however!

Will do! As a quick follow-up, our team has recommended checking out using the Timer Badge option as a potential work-around: turning on the Timer Badge gives the dock icon a red badge when a timer is running, so you’ll know any time you have a timer running!

Thanks for the follow up, yep I indeed had that checked, BUT i found that it was confusing as it also looks like the Message notification when there is an unread. So at a glance it was confusing when looking at the dock - really i want to see if it’s running at a glance, thus it was perfect how it was before (wish the OS would still allow that). Appreciate the follow up though!

The macOS status bar will show the duration as before and you would be able to enable “Show seconds” too.
Yours will see it soon after the next app restart (or approximately after the 24h if you already launched the app today)

Second this, was a very useful feature that I’ve been relying on a lot to ensure I don’t miss tracking when I should be. Hope it’s possible to bring back again.

+1 bring back the color change. Its INCREDIBLY helpful to glance down to see if I’ve started it for whatever i’m doing.
+1 vote for the grey / pink icon. The red minute counter stresses me out. I just need to know if I’m tracking or not
