Feature Request: AND Logic for Goal Criteria

Problem: Goals use OR logic for tags, causing entries to count toward multiple goals simultaneously. An entry tagged “#DeepWork #CompanyA” inflates progress for both a DeepWork goal AND a CompanyA goal.

Use Case: I tag work type (#DeepWork, #ShallowWork) and context (#CompanyA, #Personal). I need separate goals for:

  • 3 hours: #DeepWork AND #CompanyA

  • 1 hour: #DeepWork AND #Personal

Why existing options don’t work:

  • Projects: Can’t filter by client, only by individual projects

  • Combined tags (#CompanyADeepWork): Creates tag proliferation, loses flexibility

Request:

  • AND logic for goals (require all criteria)

  • Ability to edit goal criteria after creation

Thanks so much for the feedback - I’ve sent this off to the team to take into consideration. I can’t guarantee it will be implemented, but it will definitely be discussed!

I second this feature request, I have also some goals that cannot be represented correctly without this…
