Feature Request: Option to not track "No Project" in Goals

Hi, how are you all doing?

I would like to suggest if it could be possible to have an option in “Goals“ where you can tick on/off whether you want to track times associated with “No Project“ when I have the option “Any Project“ selected on the Goal creation.

The reason for this feature because sometimes you want to take a break or do another task that I want to track but don’t wish to associate with a goal or a project, just like the default pomodoro break.

I couldn’t find another way to do that. The only workaround I was able to do was to manually check all projects during the goal creation, but when I get a new project, I have to recreate the goal and start all over again.

Let me know if that makes any sense to be implemented and what you all think.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing this! It isn’t possible at this time, but it’s something we can share as a suggestion with the team  In the meanwhile, one suggestion may be to start adding a specific tag to those entries (something like “no project”?), then create a goal specifically for that tag!

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

Glad that you found this to be useful.

Thanks for the suggestion with the tag, it’s a good approach for now. In my case I just won’t add that tag to the goal tracking, since I can get to new projects very quickly but the tags are mostly all set and will remain the same even for future projects.

Hopefully the feature can be implemented as well in the future or perhaps a similar process.

Again, thanks for reaching out!
